Sievers UPW Boron Analyzer

Continuous, online monitoring of boron with Sievers UPW Boron Analyzer

The Sievers Boron Analyzers enable continuous, unattended online monitoring of ultra-low levels of boron in deionized ultrapure water applications. It’s able to run 10 samples per hour and has a limit of detection (LOD) of 15 ppt boron. The Sievers Boron Analyzer is designed to meet the needs of facility managers, DI water engineers, and fab process engineers.

Easy to operate and maintain

The Sievers Boron Analyzer predicts mixed-bed exhaustion, optimizes EDI performance and controls polishing loop boron levels. The boron analyzer detects an increase in boron prior to silica release, making it useful to prevent the leakage of silica into your ultrapure water. The Sievers Boron Analyzer can significantly reduce operating expenses and maintain quality in UPW systems.

Sievers instruments for microelectronic applications

Sievers instruments provides analytical solutions for every step of the microelectronic manufacturing process. Given their broad analytical range and application versatility, Sievers TOC Analyzers are used for UPW, process chemical purity, reclaim and wastewater treatment monitoring.

Boron monitoring to protect turbines and minimize costly repairs and downtime

Ultrapure water is an important component in power generation systems. Water treatment from source water and its use in steam generation is critical to overall plant efficiency and power production.

Time-based regeneration practices have three possible outcomes and two of them are bad

Effective resin management requires defined and measurable metrics for determining bed performance. The time-based approach provides for neither. Only continuous, on-line monitoring of boron can provide for the same level of protection while maximizing process efficiency and minimizing operational costs.
